If you’re looking to throw a fun, unconventional hen party for your soon-to-be bride, a night out in London with a trip to the theatre can be a great idea. Here are some of the shows to see, as well as suggestions for restaurants and bars in the area.
Mamma Mia! is all about a wedding, making it a natural choice for a hen party. One of the longest-running shows in the West End, it has been an audience favourite since it opened in 1999. Featuring the music of ABBA, it tells the story of a girl trying to discover the identity of her father before her wedding day. The extraordinary success of Mamma Mia! led to the award-winning film adaptation starring Meryl Streep and a host of other “jukebox” musicals formed. The show is full of big production numbers like “Dancing Queen”, “Take a Chance on Me”, and of course, the title track, and you’ll find it difficult not to see along to the exuberant finale. The production has announced plans to move from the Prince of Wales Theatre to the Novello Theatre in September, where it is booking through April 2013.
The Prince of Wales Theatre is located just off of Leicester Square on Coventry Street, and there are plenty of dining options and bars in the area. Browns Bar and Brasserie is located just behind Leicester Square station on St. Martin’s Lane and offers the best cocktails in London with great food and nibbles. For a classy dinner that’s reasonably priced, head down Piccadilly to The Wolseley. With a mix of fine British and French cuisine, it’s open late to accommodate post-theatre diners.
Ghost the Musical has been a huge West End hit since it opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in June 2011. Based on the classic movie starring Whoopi Goldberg, Patrick Swayze, and Demi Moore, it tells the story a banker who is murdered only to return to earth as a ghost. To reconnect with his beloved girlfriend and catch his killers, he must inhabit the body of a colourful con artist posing as a psychic, Oda Mae Brown. Hilarious and touching, this show is full of show-stopping numbers and powerful, romantic ballads.
The Piccadilly Theatre is located on Denham Street and is convenient to the Soho and Carnaby Street areas. There are dozens of great bars, clubs, and restaurants in the area, including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, which offers drinks and nibbles alongside live jazz players. For a more easygoing option, Giraffe on Frith Street offers high quality, inexpensive food and great cocktails.

No, not the usual dangers about liver, there’s more to worry about now. According to this article, Is it OK … to drink wine? in The Guardian:

The debate about the social and health impact of alcohol consumption, including wine, is well rehearsed elsewhere, but the production of wine also throws up a number of concerns, with the reality often far from the bucolic idyll of lore. Many of the world’s vineyards are now highly industrialised. Of most concern, perhaps, is the increasing reliance on pesticides. Several recent studies have discovered pesticide residues in wines, including some labelled as organic. This suggests that vines could be particularly vulnerable to contamination from airbound pollutants. One study of Bulgarian wine found that wine from a vineyard in a heavily polluted region contained more than double the legal limit of lead.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised to discover that we’ve poisoned our food supply as we poisoned our planet, but still, it’s a bummer. The article also raises the issue of the sustainability of shipping bottles of wine around the world. Some times the more I think about food production and sustainability, the more depressed I get.

For many of us females, shoes are the ultimate fashion luxury. No matter whether we’re having a bad hair day, a ‘feeling fat’ day or are obsessed with that spot that’s appeared overnight, our feet and shoes can always look utterly divine and the epitome of style! Perhaps that’s why we love shoes so much; their ability to make us feel fantastic never fades. However, a good pair of shoes will offer more than just style and fashion, as they also need to fit well and offer us support and comfort. Shoes do affect the health of your feet and ultimately your posture, spine and entire body’s alignment over time. Basically, if your shoes aren’t designed to absorb the shock of daily walking, running and movement, your body’s joints will and this can put quite a strain on them. So, it’s wise to approach shoe shopping with care and thought for the best outcome.
Finding the Perfect Shoe
Whether you’re looking for men’s or ladies shoes, approach your shopping carefully. Firstly, don’t go shoe shopping early in the morning as your feet will be at their smallest. As the day progresses, gravity and swelling will have its effects and your feet will often go up a size. So, anticipate this by shopping in the late afternoon to ensure an all-day comfortable fit. Similarly, don’t worry too much about your shoe size ‘number’. Every manufacturer has its own cutting measurements and dimensions, so you’ll find variation of up to a full size in each direction.
The Perfect Fit
You’ll know that the shoe fits if it’s comfortable on your longest toe. Take note that this may not be your big toe! Ideally, you’ll want a thumb-width of distance between the end of your toes and the end of the shoe. When it comes to picking the right type of shoe, consider function over form. Flip-flops aren’t suitable for distance walking, unless they are specific sports flip-flops. The thin, fashion types are just suitable for the beach and short holiday distances, plus the leather thongs force your toes to over-grip and this can lead to injuries as severe as bone fractures over time. For walking, you need shoes with 3/4 inch of sole and arch support. There are some fashionable options, like ankle boots or flats, so don’t worry! As for heels, bear in mind that heights of over two inches will cause issues in the long term if your posture isn’t perfect. So avoid problems by keeping a pair of flats for walking distances in and vary your heel heights each day. It’s also worth seeing a chiropodist twice a year to keep an eye on your feet and check that they’re healthy.
Shoe Shopping Online
Bear in mind too that shoe shopping online can be a good option, especially when you’ve found a brand that you like and know your sizing. Most will offer free return shipping if the shoes aren’t right and you can search for what you need more objectively, without being tempted to impulse buy in the store! You can also buy great accessories online such as tip toes, gel cushions, foot sprays and other useful additions to keep your feet in tip-top condition!

The Galapagos are a group of volcanic islands located 500 miles from the coast of Ecuador, in the Pacific Ocean. The islands’ remoteness across many millennia led to an isolation that created an abundance of endemic animal species found nowhere else on the planet. It was this variety of species that helped Charles Darwin to devise his theory of evolution after he had toured the islands on the voyage of HMS Beagle in 1835. It is the animals that still draw attention from the rest of the world today and Galapagos island holidays are in high demand. Many of the animals are almost tame, with no fear of humans, but many are also highly endangered. Here are just a few of the curious creatures of the Galapagos.

galapagos island
Chelenoids nigra: the Galapagos Tortoise The Giant Galapagos Tortoise is the largest tortoise in the world, reaching in excess of 400 kilograms in weight. This reptile is also one of the longest-lived vertebrates, routinely living well over 100 years. The Galapagos tortoise is an example of ‘island gigantism,’ where an abundance of food and lack of competition from other species causes an island-bound animal to reach enormous size. The introduction of livestock to the islands has caused a reduction in food availability that has led to the tortoises becoming endangered. One individual, named Lonesome George, is thought to be the last remaining example of his subspecies, the Pinta Island Tortoise and is therefore the rarest animal on the planet.
Geospiza Sp: Darwin’s Finches
Darwin’s Finches, also known as Galapagos Finches are a group of 14 finch species, famous for influencing Darwin’s theory. Darwin, who already had a penchant for finches, noted that the species that he found here were highly adapted to feed upon very specific food sources, due to the size and shape of their beaks. The most curious of the Galapagos Finches is the Vampire Finch, which has a pointed and very large beak. It uses this to drink blood from larger birds and this is thought to be an adaptation to the lack of water found on Wolf Island and Darwin Islands, where it lives.
Amblyrhynchs cristatus: the Marine Iguana This is the only iguana in the world to live in and around the ocean and is found along the shores of all of the islands. The Marine Iguana can dive in excess of ten metres deep and feeds on algae found offshore. As an exothermic animal, receiving most of its heat from its surroundings, it must routinely bask on the rocks in the heat of the sun after a dive. Unfortunately, this makes it vulnerable to introduced predators such as dogs and cats because it cannot run away when cold, which is why this unique creature has become threatened.
Spheniscus mendiculus: the Galapagos Penguin This is the only penguin to be found near the equator and lives solely on the Galapagos archipelago. Being so warm, conditions in these islands are at the very extremes of what a penguin can withstand and the Galapagos Penguin has to take regular dips in the water to stay cool. Getting enough fish and molluscs to eat is also a challenge, especially with the added pressures of local commercial fishing. As a result, the Galapagos Penguin does not breed every year and it is now the rarest penguin in the world.

we know that there are many program on internet that pay you some dollar at internet, like paid to review program, paid to click, direct advertisement and many others. but as i know, the biggest online program that give me much money are google adsense. google adsense are advertisement program from google we could be google advertisement publisher and get few dollar from ads clicked by visitor.

and there are few tips for joining the google adsense program :
Tip #1: Don’t put ads on empty pages.
When I reworked my site, I built a skeleton set of pages that had no content, just titles and some meta tags. I displayed ads on those pages, however. Although all you see are public service ads at first, the very act of displaying ads on a page causes the AdSense web crawler to quickly fetch that page for analysis. A page with good content will thus begin showing relevant paying ads fairly quickly.
If you don’t have any content, then, Google will have to guess as what your page is about. It may guess wrong, and so the ads that it displays may not be relevant. You’ll have to wait until Google re-crawls the site for the ads to correct themselves. Here is what Google had to say when I asked them about how often the AdSense crawler updates a site:
| Thank you for taking the time to update your site. New ads will start appearing on your site the next time our crawler re-indexes your site. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to control how often our crawlers index the content on your site.
Crawling is done automatically by our bots. When new pages are added to your website or introduced to the AdSense program, our crawlers will usually get to them within 30 minutes. If you make changes to a page, however, it may take up to 2 or 3 weeks before the changes are reflected in our index. Until we are able to crawl your web pages, you may notice public service ads, for which you will not receive any earnings. |
It’s better to flesh out the page before you start displaying ads on it.
Tip #2: Don’t be afraid to ask questions
If you’re wondering about something, don’t be afraid to ask Google. So far, they’ve always responded to my questions within a working day. There are two email addresses to use, depending on the type of question:
Their responses are always very polite, and they appreciate getting problem reports and suggestions.
Tip #3: Avoid non-English characters on English pages
This one is a bug, to be honest. My surname is French, and I prefer to write it out correctly with the accent grave on the first “e”. Every page on my site would then include at least two accented letters, because my name shows up twice in the footer. On some pages my name shows up two or three more times.
Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue. But on some pages the presence of the accented characters is enough to cause AdSense to display non-relevant ads in French. This happens whether the browser indicates a preference for French or not. When I reported this to Google, this is the answer they gave me:
| Hello Eric,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
We are currently working as quickly as we can to address this problem. As soon as we have more information for you, we will email you again.
We appreciate your patience.
Sincerely,
The Google Team |
Until this is resolved, I’ve decided to strip out all accents except on the pages that are actually in French.
Tip #4: Check your keyword density
Although Google doesn’t release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do tell us that it’s the text content of the page that matters, not the meta tags. Before serving ads on a page, then, you might want to check its keyword density. A good, free tool for doing this is found here:
http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html
This lets you fine-tune the page before exposing it to the AdSense crawler.

Link building is crucial for off-page SEO. Since backlinks count as votes, a blog with a lot of backlinks from sites with a high PageRank will give your blog a higher rank, too. However, building successful backlinks is not easy: even with high-ranking and reputable websites. Backlinks are created in one of two ways. The natural way, where you receive links because people like your site: or through a mutual agreement to exchange or buy and sell links. Research conducted by The Search Labs shows that natural links work best for search engines. With that information in mind, here are five mistakes to avoid while building backlinks.

(Courtesy of david anderson : da-photography)
1. Having Backlinks from Unrelated Niche Sites
Part of the reason backlinks are successful is that the sites that link to you are useful and relevant to your subject matter. If your blog is about car parts and repairs, and you have a niche site about football recommending your blog, this offers little to no benefit for improving your rank in search engines. Even if the site that is backlinking to you is popular and has a high rank in search engine results, if the topic of the site has no relevance to your site it is a useless source.
2. Links from Sites with Low PageRanks
This is a common mistake made by bloggers, and one that costs them dearly. Large numbers of low PageRank links are viewed as spam in search engines. Low ranking sites do not care about which sites they link to, and these types of links are easy to obtain. If a website has a PageRank of two, for example, but has over 1000 backlinks, your site will not be prominently showcased even if it relates to the linkback site’s content. The best solution to the problem of low ranking sites is to avoid them.
3. Not Looking for a NoFollow Attribute
A link with a noFollow attribute means that the website the link is on tells search engines not to follow the link. The Search Labs have determined that unfortunately this happens often in the world of backlinks and is one of the biggest errors a blogger can make. If you have backlinks to 100 websites, and each of those links are noFollow backlinks, the actual number of working backlinks you have is zero. There is no benefit whatsoever from having noFollow links, and it is critical that you check each link to see if each link building site is noFollow or doFollow.
4. Having Good Links with Useless Anchor Texts
Although it may seem like a great thing when a high-ranking website has a backlink to your blog, if the anchor text is made up of useless information like your name it isn’t actually a benefit. When a search engine crawls through the high-ranking website, it increases your search rank according to the keyword. If the keyword is something that doesn’t identify what you need a search engine to show, your blog is ranked by irrelevant information that people will not know how to search for.
5. Linking with Sites That Have a Bad Reputation
Your reputation is just as important online as it is in other areas of life. People want to feel that they can trust you when they visit your blog. If they see that you are backlinked to sites that have bad reputations or are considered untrustworthy, your own reputation will be severely damaged. Bad reputations sites are ones that engage in activities such as spam, illegal content, and auto blogging. Check each potential backlink site carefully before you allow a backlink.

Jumuah or Friday prayers are a congregational prayer that a Muslim has to observe. On this day the mosques are occupied and the Imam of the community gathers the people for the Salah. In the Holy Quran and the Hadiths it is mentioned that Friday is one of the important days of the week. The one who offers Salah and performs good deeds is indeed rewarded by the Almighty and all the sins are forgiven.
It is a true saying that Allah the Almighty does not like any other act better than Salah (Prayers). The Jumuah Prayers is a congregational prayer offered by the Muslim men and women. On this day the people have to go to the mosque and pray with the Imam (the leader of the community). These prayers include the Khutba that is specially prayed on this day as a preaching in the Islamic tradition. All the localities of the city have to gather in a mosque with true respect and attend the prayers. Women are also allowed to come to the mosque as a special place is provided for them in the mosque where they can offer the Salah with other ladies as well.
The Prophet has also mentioned in his Hadiths that offering five times prayer a day and also Friday Prayer results in the expedition of sins. But only to offer the prayers on Friday and leave the rest does not mean that the Muslim should indulge in sins and think that it would be cleared any how by praying the Friday Salah. It has been mentioned by the Prophet that the best day when the sun has risen is Friday and also on that day Adam had been created by the Almighty. It is so believed that the Day of Judgment would be Friday and so people should be aware and should regret of their sins and turn towards the Almighty with due respect and obliquity.
There are many prayers suggested on this day from the Holy Quran. Some of them are as follows.
Surah Zilzaal – According to the Prophet it is said that praying this Surah on Thursday night would 15 times will protect him from the pangs of death and Allah will ease his punishments on the day off Judgement. Also if you pray this 4 times the reward given by the Almighty is equal to that of praying one whole Quran.
Surah Aalah – It was the habit of the Prophet to pray this Surah in his Salah and also on the eve of Jumuah. The Prophet always used to pray this Surah before going to sleep.
Surah Dukhaan – Praying this Surah on Thursday night or on the day of Jumuah, the person will be blessed and 70 thousand angels will pray for him and ask forgiveness for him until morning. All his sins and bad deeds would be pardoned by the Almighty if a person prays this Surah.
Surah Kahf – this is to be prayed on the day of Jumuah, it is said that a person who prays this Surah a shining light is created for him between his place and Makkah. All the minor sins committed by him from last Friday till today would be forgiven.
Surah Jumuah – This Surah is recited especially on this day as many times you can, as it increases your rewards and forgive sins.
How to Prepare Yourself for Jumuah Prayers
It is very essential and a vital aspect for a person who wishes to go for a Salah, to prepare himself and purify himself before going to the mosque.
The first act to start with is to get purified by having a shower and also ablution should be performed that is called as Wuzu in simple Arabic terms.
Dress yourself with clean clothes. It is very important that you should change your clothes if you have been to the office or anywhere wearing the same clothes.
The application of Itr (Perfume) is also one of the main things or you can apply Kajal or Surma in your eyes as well.
Leaving early from the house towards the mosque and waiting in the mosque for the prayers to begin is one of the good deeds that Allah likes and so he rewards accordingly.
Give away alms to the poor and give charity in the name of Allah is considered to be a noble act.
Greet your parents and take their blessings on this day.
If you can visit the mosque during the day after the prayers, do not stay behind because each of your step taken towards the mosque is rewarded and your sins are forgiven.
Maintaining decorum and not talking between the prayers is a kind of etiquette one should follow.
If there is a place in the front rows of the Imam you should sit there close to him whenever possible.
A person should avoid stepping over people to get a particular spot in the mosque.
Follow the above mentioned steps to prepare yourself for Jumuah prayers so that Allah showers lot of blessings on you. Be consistent in offering Salah on Jumuah, perform good deeds and follow holy Islamic path in right manner.
