We’ve all been there. Maybe your flight has been delayed or that appointment you drove an hour to reach has been rescheduled for two hours later. Regardless of the reason, you have time to kill and nothing to do. Fortunately, if you’ve taken advantage of one of the many Xfinity deals, you can now download the Xfinity TV application to your device.
The Xfinity app can be used on iPhones, iPods, or iPads, however due to the sizing of the screen, iPads are generally easier to watch on.

The Xfinity app has many different uses but each one revolves around giving the user access to entertainment at the drop of a hat. For example, let’s say your planes been delayed and you have an hour to kill. If you have the Xfinity app, you can browse TV shows currently on. If you can’t find something you like, that’s okay too. Use the app to search for your favorite shows On Demand. Once you’ve found something you want to watch, start streaming with just a press of a button.
The Xfinity app works by using the locations wifi to access hundreds of shows and movies, either playing in real time or by searching On Demand. As you’re watching, you skip to certain parts of show by using simple on screen controls. With so many places offering free wifi, this allows you to watch your favorite shows anywhere.
Watching TV isn’t all that Xfinity deals with though. The app can also be used to access your DVR even when you’re away from home. Let’s say that appointment that got rescheduled now takes place during the series finale of your favorite show. With the Xfinity app, you can program your DVR to record the episode so you don’t miss a thing.

In addition to watching TV and recording DVR shows on the go, the Xfinity app also allows parents to access parental control settings when they’re away from home. Even if you’re working late, you can have peace of mind knowing that your child isn’t watching anything inappropriate for them.
Setting up the Xfinity app is easy. Start while you’re at home so the app is able to detect the type of cable box your TV has. Sign into your Comcast account and your device will begin to synch all the devices together. Once the devices have been properly synched, you’re ready to start watching.
Finding programs to watch is just as easy. Simply tap the “TV Listings” button on your phone, iPod or iPad. Two weeks of programing will appear for you to surf through. If you’re unable to find something to watch, click the “On Demand” button to browser the movies and TV shows viewable for instant streaming.
Because the app is so easy to use, it’s great for sharing favorite shows with friends. For example, let’s say a friend recommends a show he thinks you’ll like. Simply open the app, click search, sit back and enjoy. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

just googling again about iPhone, and found the apple iPhone 6 design concept, haha, even the iPhone 5 is not released yet, check the complete article.
While everybody is busy speculating about the CDMA iPhone and iPhone 5 a designer out there has already taken the time to come up with a concept design for the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 design that is presented still maintains the single-button simplicity of the iPhone, though the phone looks slightly wider and a little more rugged. The external antenna issues have apparently been solved by this design, which will be good news for folks who are still hung up over the whole issue. A fancy docking station is also included as part of the design, along with a solar panel that allows the iPhone 6 to be charged via an eco-friendly means. Would you want to buy this if it were the next-generation iPhone?

JailbreakMe is the latest jailbreak method for all devices running iOS 3.1.2 or newer. Like I said before, JailbreakMe is the easiest jailbreak you will ever find but some of you asked me to write a tutorial about it.
This guide and tutorial will show you how to use JailbreakMe to jailbreak your iPhone. Obviously, most people won’t need this tutorial because JailbreakMe is pretty straightforward.
Step 1: Make you your iPhone is backed up in iTunes, in case something goes wrong.
Step 2: From you iPhone, go to JailbreakMe.com.
Step 3: Slide to jailbreak.
Step 4: Sit back, relax. JailbreakMe will be downloaded to your iPhone and will work its magic. When done, a pop up will tell you that Cydia has been installed.
Step 5: Reboot your iPhone. You don’t have to, but it’s always a good thing to do.

AdMob
, the mobile advertising network currently being acquired by Google, this morning featured the latest results of its monthly analysis of consumer usage and attitudes across the Android, iPhone and webOS application platforms in its January 2010 AdMob Mobile Metrics Report. 
Among the most interesting things the survey found is the conclusion that 91 percent of iPhone users would recommend their device, compared to 84 percent of Android users and only 69 percent of webOS users.
That 22% difference has got to hurt for Palm.
Other than that, not much noteworthy in this month’s survey results, which states that consumers who use iPhone and Android devices showed “remarkably similar” activity levels, downloading approximately the same total number of applications and spending approximately the same amount of time using them. What I would deem logical and not remarkable at all.
AdMob further says iPhone users continue to download more paid applications, with 50 percent of users purchasing at least one paid application a month compared to 21 percent of Android users. The survey also included consumers on webOS devices and found that they downloaded fewer paid and free applications, although they remain active.
AdMob says it stores and analyzes handset and operator data from every ad request in a network of more than 15,000 mobile Web sites and iPhone, Android, and webOS applications. The AdMob share is calculated by the percentage of requests received from a particular handset; it is a measure of relative mobile Web and application usage and does not represent handset sales.
Additionally, AdMob claims that the number of ad requests to their network went up 32 percent between December and January, to a total of 15.2 billion ads.

Barcelona – Opera browser finally showed agility when running on the iPhone in the event Mobile World Congress 2010. Opera browser claimed six times more speeding than Safari, the browser that become the sole option that Apple gadgets.
MWC 2010 in the event that took place in Barcelona, Opera has demonstrated how serasinya Opera Mini with the iPhone.
But because Apple does not necessarily accept a rival browsers in their platforms, Opera browsers were not entered into the App Store.
“This will then be submitted (to Apple), but we have not decided when. We want to further refine these products. We will not make it if we do not intend to register it,” said Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of Opera Software.
According to Von Tetzchner, Opera Mini runs six times faster than Safari on the iPhone when using the 3G network.
