Everyone has had a disaster in the kitchen at one time or another. Even the most experienced cook can be distracted and add too much salt, forget to set the timer, or omit a crucial ingredient. This advice will help you fix disasters and prevent them from happening in the first place.

I thought it was time to write this article because of a kitchen disaster that happened to me! I had promised friends some Pecan Pie Bars for their open house and was trying a new recipe (note to self: follow your own advice and don’t try a new recipe at a crucial time!!). The recipe seemed perfect, went together well, smelled terrific, and came out of the oven looking delicious. I let the bars cool, then pulled out a platter and cut the bars to arrange them. And discovered that the bottom crust had disappeared during baking, and instead of a two crust bar, they consisted of a crunchy topping over pecan pie filling. It was very difficult getting the bars out of the pan, and when I put them on the platter they stuck. And they pulled in half when I tried taking them off the platter. I was ready to chuck the whole thing when the solution came to me. I just turned the bars upside down so the crunchy top was the new bottom crust and sprinkled toasted pecans over the new top (former bottom). They were a smash! (more…)

The house called “The Klein Bottle House” which is designed by Rob Mcbride Aurstralia got a great set up in irregular shapes or for ane’s “crib” Stealth aircraft form the boxes.
Own design inspiration just because the designers want to change a paradigm that a house should have a regular shape and hence creates a strange house, cool isn’t it?

The selection of appropriate materials can thicken to a minimalist concept presented. Eg glass furniture combined with aluminum or wrought iron furniture including the widely used. In addition to a simple form, any maintenance relatively easy to do.
Curtains were able to support the impression you want to display in the room. With a novel type of blind, for example, which are lightweight and able to give the impression that the dynamic in the room is minimalist.
Design with strict precision also characterizes the architecture and minimalist furniture. Therefore, select a table or chair that has a simple design, little, or no ornament. With these minimal ornament, can simplify maintenance and more spacious room that terksesan suitable when applied to a small minimalist home.
Minimalist also be combined with the material or furniture of color – the color of dark brown wood such as red or brown.
The selection of colors and patterns have to be carefully shown, in which the pattern of flowers or colors that are too crowded less suitable when combined in a minimalist home. Keep the color tone each time to add or change the accessories and furniture in one room.

Like living things, even inanimate objects have the age and endurance. Our house is no exception. our house is unique because it consists of various elements forming the building. Not only the main structure and support, but also your furniture.

Periodically, these elements could change, both the quality and form. This is caused internal and external factors. Examples of internal factors such as wooden structure columns, the surface can slowly destroyed by termites.
Not only from shaping the structure and building materials factors, renovation also came from eskternal factor, in this case the needs of the home or building owner. The number of members of the household increases, for example, is one cause. Another cause is a condition that is not comfortable house to live or housing conditions that do not suit your needs. Generally this occurs because buying a house from the developer.
Whole of this problem is not a problem especially when the funds. For that to have a plan to renovate the house to think of a mature and wise. Do not let the fact renovation activity stalled in the middle of the road or your initial goal is not reached.
While preparing for the factors mentioned above, start looking for information about the design and materials from various sources. You can request the assistance of experts if you plan to renovate the house is medium or large. This way you will have a design image easily understood by artisans or foremen. In addition, you always try to design discipline and time that have been planned to avoid swelling the budget and time estimates specified time not stretch.
We know the home renovation process in general:
bulk
If all things related to the planned renovations are done, a good idea to use the bulk system. However, because the contractor after the deadline has been given, there are times when the quality is not good.
daily
In contrast to the bulk, if the implementation plan was not yet ripe but not yet urgent condition, you select daily carpenter system. In terms of quality will be better workmanship and detail. But be careful, could delay the process.

many room was meant to be a bedroom by the builder that didn’t mean you have to use it as a bedroom. the bedroom even can use into studio or anything depend on our interest. we make our home as functional and useful for your own personal and family lifestyle. to make room interior in our house become functional, you can apply this folowing simple tips :
1. work your artwork in and arround the furniture for surprising twist. you will find a host of illustration that show you ideas on hanging artwork low on the wall, tucked in between a lamp and sofa or chair.
2. create a new focal point in a dull room by bringing your china cabinet into the living room, for instance. Accessories the shelves with decorative plants, pictures, books, vases, candles, etc. You’ll need to remove the doors first so these things can be seen and appreciated.
3. look throughout your home for unique pieces of furniture that aren’t getting the attention they deserve. Bring them into the living room or family room where they will be functional and more appreciated.
4. For a custom look on your ready made drapes, sew on bullion fringe to the bottom or use a hot glue gun to attach it. It will really take them to the next level quite easily and quickly.
5. If you really want to be creative and unique, try using odd things for rods: old golf clubs, PVC pipe that has been decorated, a broom stick, tennis rackets that have been jazzed up. You get the idea.
6. Stack old suitcases on top of each other to create an instant lamp table or a small coffee table. Drape a scarf over them or set books on top of them. I have a decorative storage box sitting on top of an old suitcase in one of my rooms.
7. Plate racks can become instant cornices at your windows. As the seasons change, so do the plates.
8. For the most spacious feeling in a room, the ceiling should be white. But you might want a cozy look. Consider painting the ceiling an accent color or mounting faux beams. Create surprise by hanging potted plants from high beams in a vaulted ceiling room.
9. Look for unusual items to collected together and mount in a shadow box. It can become a very good conversation piece. Don’t try to arrange too many things together in one place as that can become tedious to look at. Just 3-5 items for that really custom and surprising decor.
10. An inverted “V” arrangement facing the focal point will give you a change of pace from the more standard arrangement configurations.
11. Look for other stable pieces of furniture to place in front of your sofa other than the standard coffee table. Try ottomans, a large chest, a chess set on a display, stacked futons.
12. Need a quick inexpensive curtain rod? Try a garden stake and slip rings over it to draw the curtain.
thats all the simple tips to make your interior more cool, we hope that simple tips are useful for you

How the availability of provider stores of everyday needs in your new house location? Is there a supermarket, restaurant, or mall?
Entertainment
If the house you select is located in the housing, usually as a means of entertainment playground, swimming pool, tennis courts, and others are provided by the developer. But, if not located in the housing, easy access to entertainment facilities like that should be considered.
The police station and hospital
Gallery culture & libraries. This is often missed from consideration, but growing interest in art and literature can be done with used to take the children to the library or art galleries.
Places of worship. A healthy spiritual life is very important in the life of this increasingly challenging.

we found some nice articles from here, Once you’ve made the decision to build rather than buy your next home, the biggest step after finding the right building lot is to design your future abode. This can be tough; putting together a home design that reflects your taste, yet also fits your needs and budget is a balancing act that takes planning. The following are ten guidelines to help you on your way.
1. Do Your Home Design Homework
You must first decide what type of home to build. House styles today are as varied as those who live in them, offering you a banquet of ideas from which to borrow.
When you see a home that appeals to you, decide exactly what features or characteristics caught your eye. Make a note of these or, better yet, make a quick sketch. Keep all these ideas together in a file. You don’t have to decide how to implement them all yet, but eventually you’ll decide how best to fit these into your home design plan.
2. Create Your Home Design List
When creating a list of criteria for your home design, start with the basics: the number of bedrooms, the number of bathrooms, the number of family areas, the choice between a formal dining room or a more open, community eating area, porch or deck styles for your home’s entrances and the size of your garage.
Once your basic list is complete, tackle planning for individual rooms. You’ll want to list features that are most important to you first and then add from there. This list can include kitchen features, master bathroom features, audio wiring for speaker systems, Internet and phone connections and so on.
3. Check Local Zoning Laws
Zoning laws can affect everything from house framing to yard fencing. Checking first to see what zoning laws your community has can save you many headaches.
4. Design Within Your Budget
Once your list is completed, compare it to your budget and adjust to fit. This is particularly difficult for first–time home builders, a big problem according to Tom Dickinson, veteran builder and a Building Inspector for Logan City, Utah.
“It happens more than you’d think,” said Dickinson. “People’s eyes get too big for their budgets and in the end they wind up overshooting the mark—sometimes leaving them without drapes, blinds and even furniture.”
One way to get a handle on your budget from the beginning is to invest in home design software that includes an estimator, which gives you a running total of costs as you design your home.
5. Design to Fit Your Plot
Your land is unique; each plot has assets and challenges. Keep these in mind while creating your home design. Use existing grades of your plot to your favor. If your lot slopes sharply to the side, consider a walkout side basement door instead of the traditional back door. Working with your land, instead of against, saves you excavating costs and retains more of your plots natural character.
You should also position ground–level bedrooms and bathrooms toward the back of the house, away from street and foot traffic, and design windows, foliage and fences to maximize beauty and increase privacy.
6. Maximize Your Space Efficiency
When mapping out your floor plan, make sure there is a logical flow to your home design. You want to simplify life for your contractor while he builds and for your family while they live in it. Some things to consider:
- 1 Design direct access to the kitchen from the garage
- 2 Design all your plumbing in one general area, reducing pipe distance
- 3 Place your heating ventilation and air conditioning system as centrally as possible, allowing for better temperature balance throughout your house
- 4 Bedrooms should be isolated to reduce noise and increase privacy
- 5 Place your washer and dryer on the same floor as bedrooms (for two or more story homes)
- 6 Make sure all doorways, hallways and stairways are wide enough to move furniture through
- 7 Make sure that light switches are placed appropriate to traffic flow and that outlets are conveniently placed
7. Plan for Expansion
If you can’t afford to build your entire dream house now, plan your home design so that expansion is not only possible, but easy. One way of doing so is to build your home in phases.
For example, build your main house first, add your detached garage in a few years and then finally, finish that basement. Pick affordable priorities and tackle those first.
8. Picture Interior Design
When putting together your floor plan, place furniture in the design to see how it all fits together. You can do this using graph paper, magazine clippings or by using home design software. Also, consider your lighting scheme, paint and flooring choices, and how your design will work for entertaining–planning for all your favorite activities will help you create proper seating, dining and socializing space (and will insure that your kitchen sink is not visible from the front door!)
9. Don’t Forget the Sun
The position of the sun can affect your home design in many ways, depending on the direction your home faces. A south facing home will be warmer in the winter, but hotter in the summer. Place windows to take advantage of natural light, which allows for better energy conservation. And if you particularly enjoy sunrises or sunsets, then design places into the east or west sides of your home to spend time doing so.
we hope this simple daily tips are informative to you
