Jobs liked to call some of his products “magical.” While that might be a bit of an exaggeration, there’s no doubt he and the people he oversaw at Apple changed the way people interact with computers. Apple II
Launched in June 1977, the Apple II was the first successful mass-market PC. Jobs and Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak designed the Apple II, and it changed computing around the world. The first Apple II had specs you would laugh at now, but they were quite good for the time: a 1-MHz processor, 4KB of RAM and an audio cassette interface for programs and data storage. The machine had an external 5.25-inch floppy disk drive as well. The Apple II and its successors would later pave the way for business and consumer PCs.
Lisa
While Apple’s 1983 Lisa computer was a failure of sorts because of its $10,000 price tag, it did introduce many computing features that continue to drive computing innovation. The Lisa was one of the first computers to offer multitasking, a document-based graphical user interface, an optional hard drive and bundled office software. The Lisa is arguably the least important item on this list, and if that’s the case, you can see just how notable Jobs’ contribution to technology products are to today’s society.
Macintosh
The original Macintosh computer was advertised during the Super Bowl in 1984 and famously decried the status quo of personal computing with imagery related to George Orwell’s 1984. Monday, October 3rd, 2011Amazon’s killer blow – the Kindle Fire – seems nowhere near, in my opinion, as glossy as the Apple iPad 2. Sorry, I started this review in an anti-Amazon way.
This 7-inch tablet computer is priced at $199, less than half the price of iPad, but it is more like an entry point for retailers and less of an ecosystem of apps and iTunes as the competitor. It is made more for the purpose of drawing loyal users and persuading them to buy more from its other online products.
Keeping aside my own negativity, Kindle Fire is surely going to create some tough competition in the tablet computer market. It is said Kindle Fire is at its best for the purpose of reading and online shopping. Downloading great varieties of apps along with games from the Amazon app store is what going to build up craze among potential tablet buyers. Instant streaming of thousands of movies right from the device is an exclusive feature.
Based on the design of Kindle e-readers of Amazon, Kindle Fire is the first in the series to have color screen and having a fast duel-core processor.
The screen resolution is only 1024 x 600 and internal storage is 8GB. For those tablet users who wants to store more movies, TV shows and games, Kindle Fire will be a bit disappointing. However, free cloud storage for Amazon contents are there as a help. More to this, the screen resolution of iPad is 1024 x 600. This may also be a matter of cross thinking before buying the Amazon tablet.
In an overall review of this Amazon Silk powered Kindle Fire, it will be a strong tablet for book lovers and one who want to have access to Android apps, movies and TV shows. So, parents may prefer it more for their kids than any other tablets available in the market.

The external antenna issues have apparently been solved by this design, which will be good news for folks who are still hung up over the whole issue. A fancy docking station is also included as part of the design, along with a solar panel that allows the iPhone 6 to be charged via an eco-friendly means. Famous iPhone Jailbreaker George Hotz aka Geohot , is the first among the jailbreakers community to have a working jailbreak for iPhone 5 . He has not revealed the jailbreak exploit yet but claims that the jailbreak tool can jailbreak future versions of iPhone which has to be iPhone 5 coming this July .
The Jailbreak has not been revealed , but it must be a bootrom exploit and not a userland jailbreak which can be easily patched by Apple iOS 5 updates . Bootrom exploits are hardware based exploits that needs fixing hardware components to avoid the iphone from being jailbroken. This is not possible at least for the lifetime of the device as Apple has no control over the hardware of your phone which you have purchased .

Sunday, September 11th, 2011It would appear that Apple is definitely out to get Samsung over their claims that Samsung gear copies the look and feel of the iPhone and Apple iPad. We already know that Apple was successful at getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Germany and is currently trying to get a Europe wide ban along with a ban in Australia, and now the dispute has move to another part of the globe.
According to an article on Reuters, Apple has now taken its hounding of Samsung to the land of the rising sun. The word is Apple has filed a patent infringement suit with the Tokyo District Court that seeks to halt the sales of Samsung handsets in the country. (more…)
