People wear glasses because of an eye condition or for style. They can be used to represent your personality and your social status apart from your style. Certain factors like color, decoration, shape and material used in eyewear can give away a lot of information about you to others.
Eyewear color
It is a known fact that colors convey certain attributes. In the case of your eyeglasses too, they play the same role. Grey, black and brown are the colors that generally express royalty and professionalism. So if you are of a royal clan or an expert at what you do, these are the perfect colors for you.
White and blue colors express calmness and peace. So people normally perceive you to be a relaxed person if you wear glasses with these color frames. Bright colors like light green or orange can give out a vibe that you are a fun person as they represent charm and liveliness. Red and dark green represent boldness and domination, which is why you can wear them if you are a boss of a company.
Eyeglass material
Frames made of certain materials can also be used to show the kind of person you are to the world. Frames made of metals can express professionalism, so if you want to show your boss that you are a thorough professionals use these frames!
If the frames are made of plastic, it only means that you are a person who takes things coolly and doesn’t fret over small matters. Again the opinions can also be based on the color of the plastic frames.
Eyeglass shape
The often used shapes are geometric, round, oval, rectangular, cat-eyes, butterfly and star shapes. Geometric shape, rectangular and round are the ones used to convey your intelligence to the people. Cat-eyes glasses are used mostly by celebrities and entertainment industry related people as it gives out a vibe that the person is fun and loves playing pranks.
Normally people who wear prescription glasses go with rectangular half-frames. These are said to convey professionalism. Nerd glasses in oval shape convey that you are a brainy person. Round shaped nerd glasses are famous amongst celebrities like George Clooney and Meryl Streep.
Star shaped glasses and butterfly are for purely party purposes as nobody wants to look professional in parties. This represents the crazy side of you and is used more by women folk.
Eyeglass decoration
Some people make use of dazzling sunglasses with gems and glitter. People, who are in fashion industry, use these kinds of glasses more often as they want to maintain the fashion aspect.
People who like partying also like to wear these funky glasses that depict a “devil may care” attitude. Female college students usually like wearing glasses that have attractive stickers and decals on the frames like that of birds, stars and some other feminine objects. On the other hand the male students keep them plain to show off their machismo.

It is quite known to most folks that eyeglasses makes a person look smarter. I never really believed that praise. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses for almost 10 years now and not once did anyone told me that I look smart (possibly because I act like a goofball as well). What I do know, however, is that I actually find some women who look good with eyeglasses on. I am dead serious – and a lot of folks out there would agree with me. It may depend on what kind of frame do you have for your eyeglasses, as well as what color did you pick for your frame. It’s not just the hot-red eyeglasses alone that make a girl look hot. I’ve seen girls wear those thick black eyeglasses, and they still end up looking so attractive to me. Let’s try to find out how a pair of eyeglasses makes a girl look so beautiful – without any librarian/teacher fetish in mind.
There’s a theory that it’s not the eyeglasses that makes the look more appealing. Some say it’s actually the eyes that make a girl look so good with glasses on; with the glasses being there to merely amplify and frame the beauty itself. Some say that it depends on how your brow looks like, too.
According to some fashion experts, the eyebrow frames the eyeglasses, making it a priority for eyeglass-wearing girls to keep their brows tidy. While some of these fashion experts claim that you should put make-up around their eyes to amplify its beauty, some suggests that they should minimize the make-up, since the frame of the eyeglasses already draws attention to your eyes; instead, you should apparently concentrate more on blush and lip gloss.
Your hairstyle can also change the way you look with glasses on, apparently. Fashion experts suggest that fringes look great with eyeglasses. Short hairstyles or hairstyles that pull your hair off your face are good too. If you’re looking for ways how can your eyeglasses make you look good, it’s usually because the eyeglasses complements your looks and hairstyle quite well. Even your hair color and frame color should have some sort of synch between them in order to make both look good with one another.
So there you have it – different reasons as to how and why eyeglasses can sometimes make a woman look better. Who could have ever thought that the magic doesn’t necessarily have to come from the spectacles themselves? So if you know someone who wears eyeglasses all the time, but they don’t really look good with them on, I suggest you tell them about what you’ve read today. Maybe they’re just not wearing the right frame for them; or maybe a decent make up and a hairstyle change can make your friend suddenly look good with them on.
Bottom line: eyeglasses do not just make you look smarter – they make you look more beautiful, too. This would obviously also mean that eyeglasses do not necessarily make someone look unattractive – they just didn’t pick the right one for them.

Adding new and energetic colours and features to your home is a fantastic way of giving a dreary household a much needed injection of energy; as with all most tasks in home renovation and DIY however, there are plenty of ways for it to go wrong. If you are looking to turn a plain old home into a bright and Summery settlement then follow some of these simple yet flexible hints and ideas and see your dream home come to life!
Always Coordinate
No matter how ambitious and vibrant your chosen colour may be, always be consistent with your colour coordination. Stick to a predetermined colour scheme religiously, and make a quick sketch of the room using the exact colours to see if they work well together, this will prevent any work having to be redone.
Bright, light colours are the most effective at reflecting natural sunlight, so if you are looking to create a room that looks great in summer then look for vibrant, lively colours that really evoke a ‘fresh’ feeling.
Try to stick to two primary colours in each room, and then feel free to break the room up by adding a secondary colour in small dashes around the room. Say for example you choose a bright summery green tone, and a clean, neutral white tone to contrast it with; your third ‘secondary’ colour should work well with (and certainly not clash with) both of them.
Rethink Each Room
Each room can have new stylish features added in all areas; if you are looking to bring the summer into your bathroom consider adding some ‘beach house’ style blinds or lightly coloured contemporary bathroom furniture to really put across the theme you are looking to create. Be sure to coordinate these features with your chosen colour scheme and theme, as too many colours and styles in one room can detract from the overall appearance and be a little harsh to look at.
Take note of the items that you could add to create a light, modern and stylish appearance and replace old items at the same time. Dull, generic items such as ‘standard’ bathroom sinks and washbasins do nothing for the appearance of the room; source something more interesting and appealing such as a freestanding basin. The simple fact that your bathroom holds contemporary features such as this will enhance the overall appearance of the room and create a much more luxurious feeling for residents and visitors.
So there you have it; some great simple tips to ready your home for the summer; always remember to coordinate colours in advance!

Creating a home that is both modern and stylish is a great way to feel good in your place of residence and confident when having family and friends inside the property. Often people will go to great lengths to redecorate their home with modern colours and tones, but fall short during the later stages of decoration – the furnishing.
Sourcing modern home furniture and fixtures is not necessarily a difficult task; most home furnishing stores only stock modern and popular styles, leaving the more niche and ‘adventurous’ designs to be stocked by specialist stores and suppliers. Combining these items to create a continuous theme however, is a different matter entirely.
Suitable Colours
When a redecoration and refurbishment of a room is on the cards, most people have a general idea of what colours and patterns they are looking to apply within. Whether you are looking to apply bright, vibrant tones to create a kitchen ready for summer, or dark, warm colours to create a cosy living room to curl up in during the winter nights, there are corresponding modern furnishing to match each kind of room.
The first thing to consider is the texture and colour of each piece of furniture or decoration you add to your home; ask yourself of the colours match the room effectively, and do not bring inconsistencies to the desired colour scheme.
Practicality
Follow this rule: do not substitute substance for style. Creating a home which contains plenty of modern features can look fantastic, but it could become a hugely impractical living space. Ensure the items you add are a good use of the space they take up, and add more to the room than they take away. For example, adding a large ‘L’ shaped leather sofa to a living room can be very stylish and effective, but if the sofa takes up 70% of the walking space in the room, it’s fair to say it’s probably a bad idea to have it in your home.
Find a happy medium between style and practicality; if your home seamlessly looks great without overstuffing it with decoration and furniture then you’ve found the perfect balance between decoration and clutter.
Modern Furnishings
The most important step in creating a home that looks modern and stylish is finding ways to add features which add masses of contemporary style without turning your home into a sci-fi convention. Subtle features such as contemporary designer radiators, modern lamps and lighting, motion activated taps and new luxurious bathroom features can help bring modern style and design into your home one step at a time. Add these features in moderation and space them out properly for maximum effect; allow the furnishings to subtly add character to your home rather than overpower it.
So there you are; some useful tips to help modern homeowners create the perfect abode!

The word diamond is derived from the ancient Greek word “adamas” meaning “unbreakable.” The etymology alone should be a clue as to why these beautiful stones are highly-valued and widely used in diamond rings. The act of giving someone a diamond engagement or wedding ring symbolizes a bond that can never be broken.
Diamonds and Their Symbolism
Diamonds are known to be one of the hardest materials in existence. This means that they can withstand great force and pressure. Aside from their value as decorative items, diamonds are also commonly used in industrial applications. Diamonds were once believed to possess supernatural powers. In ancient times it was believed that diamonds could ward of enchantments and lunacy. Diamonds were also said to ensure victory to any warrior who carried one. It is no wonder that in modern times, diamonds are not only worn in diamond rings but in earrings, necklaces, and brooches. Diamonds signify strength, power, and resilience, and wearing a diamond in any setting can convey the same about you.
Diamond Rings Throughout History
The tradition of using diamonds in rings can be traced back to as far as the ancient Roman civilization. The Romans valued diamonds for their supernatural powers. The medieval Italians heard of these beliefs and added to them, dubbing the diamond as “pietra della reconciliazone” or “the stone of reconciliation” because it protected the union between husband and wife. Because of this, it became recommended this stone be set in diamond engagement rings.
Fancy colored diamond rings are slowly gaining popularity. Bored by the traditional white diamonds, more and more people have been choosing to use stones that are bold, bright, and full of personality. Modern men and women recognize that the things they wear reflect the person they are, so choosing a red, pink, blue, orange, green, or yellow diamond will depend on an individual’s personality and taste. Because these diamonds are very rare their value is also very high. Very often these particular diamonds cost much more than the more common white diamonds and because of this, they are highly sought after by the wealthy and prestigious. The rarity of these beautiful stones only adds to their value and meaningfulness. Visit http://www.serendiamonds.com for a huge selection of colored diamonds and diamond rings.
Naural Fancy Colored Diamonds Worn By Celebrities
Academy Award winner Carrie Underwood sports a beautiful flawless yellow round diamond on her ring finger. Reportedly priced at $1 million, this ring befits her bubbly personality. Tennis superstar Anna Kournikova wears an 11 carat pink pear cut diamond ring and who can forget the stunning 6.5 carat pink princess cut diamond ring that singer/actress Jennifer Lopez received from ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck? This was THE ring that set off a whole new trend in colored diamond rings.
There is no better way to show someone how much they are valued than surprising them with this beautiful gift. Colored diamond rings don’t have to be limited to engagements or weddings, after all, shouldn’t every occasion be exactly as joyous and full of love?

The interior designing industry of Canada is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country and has witnessed graphs of elevating substantial growth. With more and more buildings coming up in every nook and corner in the country, interior designers are in top demand today. Exhibitions like National Home Show are attracting direct foreign investment into the sector by bringing international designers into the country. There are colleges and universities which offer courses in interior designing thereby churning out a large number of students with fresh doses of creativity and ideas in their mind. Trade shows like The National Home Show bring together a variety of innovations and ideas on the table as well.
The demand for interior designing as a sector has continuously been on the rise as industrialization is a phenomenon that has been least affected by the recession as well as the growing rate of the Canadian Dollar. For the past 10 years, the economy of the country has been observed to be very stable which has resulted in giant advances in the field of interior designing. This also holds true for the increasing number of students who enroll themselves for interior designing courses in colleges as they see a bright professional future ahead. Exhibitions such as National Home Show have always encouraged the visiting of students as well as the older generation alike. Another surprise result that the latest census data in the country showed was that women held about 78% of the interior designer jobs in the year 2006 and such a trend has been seen to be on the rise since the early 90s. This has further reinstated the fact that women have held the designer jobs as they prove to be much more on the creative side when it comes to drawing plans, furnishing bedrooms and choosing between various varieties of blinds and shades. Visitor profile in trade shows like The National Home Show has also shown dominant female gender participation.
As far as the employment section of the industry goes, it is observed that most of them start out their career as junior engineers working as an apprentice to a senior designer. With the passage of time, they get promoted to intermediate designers, senior managers and finally project managers in a firm. The National Home Show has always encouraged interactions that have helped interior designers find solutions to some of their problems. After gaining enough experience, they even set up their own offices and firms. A survey report in the year 2006 showed that 39% of all the interior designers in the country were self employed. National Home Show, a premier interior design exhibition in the country offers an informative experience especially to the passing out graduates from various colleges. With the boom in the construction sector expected to continue even more, the interior designing industry does not face any real challenge and is therefore expected to witness even greater developments in the future.

The floricultural industry is a sector that has witnessed various developments and trends in different parts of the world. The farmers have gone on to garner huge profits in the process. The floricultural industry of Canada is no different either as the times of recession and high inflation had challenged the prospects of the flower industry in the country to a great extent. But today, thanks to the competitive nature of the farmers in the country, the sector is advancing forward. Special mention has to be given to trade shows like Canada Blooms that have proved to be very informative and bringing new innovations to the market. Canada Blooms 2012 is in the offing promising to bring more changes. In the export industry, Canada has much to cheer about as it reached a record figure of $165.3 million in the year 2002.
The floricultural industry of Canada is mainly centered around the Ontario belt that accounts for almost 75% of the total flower production of the country. Although the region had witnessed certain downslides between 2001 and 2006 due to extreme competition from the other flower growing regions, it has come back very strongly in the last couple of years. The region is mainly dedicated to growing cut flowers such as roses, chrysanthemum and alstroemeria. Many of the flower varieties were prominently displayed at exhibitions such as Canada Blooms. But the Ontario market still needs to overcome a lot of problems as it struggles to keep up the quality of flowers that are exported from South American countries. Some other potted flowering varieties grown in the region includes kalanchoe, cyclamen, Easter lilies, orchids and poinsettia. Its just like the previous editions is expected to witness great crowds.
Having said all this, it needs to be reiterated that the growth that the sector has witnessed alludes to the mass market chains such as grocery chains, discount departments and trade shows like Canada Blooms. The growers in the Niagara region of Ontario’s flower market were able to at one point of time penetrate into the mass market conditions of some states of the US such as Texas, Florida and Chicago. There was a wide diversity and the efficient utilization of technology made the success even more compelling. The biggest seasons of the industry without doubt are the Valentine’s Day, Mother’s day and Christmas. Canada Blooms 2012, a premier floral trade show contributes a lot to these seasons. Today the sector has to face many challenges such as the growing rate of the Canadian dollar, border issues and climate problems. However just as the industry has come back strongly after every recessionary period, it is expected that it would come back this time too.

Wearing a t-shirt that says something through its print is fun and printing them at home with your own hand is even more fun. Now you can easily print a customised t-shirt with design and colours of your choice on it, that too at home. There are various kits available in the market that gives you everything you need to print a t-shirt at home. These kits including software with instructions so that you can design format on your computer and use it for t-shirt printing. You can also assemble your own materials needed for the purpose. Whichever way you choose, just keep few things in mind to get that perfect result for t-shirt printing while using the typical iron-on style of transfer printfrom your computer printer and applied with a household iron.
It is always good to print a preview copy of the image you want to use before printing it on the transfer paper which is usually a little expensive. This will help you make sure that colours print correctly and that your design doesn’t fall into the printer’s no-print zone along the margins. It will also give you an idea of what size your design will be.
It is important to flip or mirror your design before actually printing it, especially if you are using text in your design. The text should be backwards on screen or on the print out. Though some programs do this automatically but it is always good to be sure before printing.
Using the right kind of transfer paper that suits your desktop printer is also a critical point. Most t-shirt transfer paper is for inkjet printers. There are different transfer papers white and black t-shirts.
Transferring the design from transfer paper to t-shirts require hot ironing. It is important to use real hot iron so use the hottest setting on your iron without steam. It requires a lot of heat to transfer the image evenly and completely to the fabric. If you are not using a cool-peel paper then peel off the paper while it is still hot. Cool-peel transfer papers on the other hand allow you to wait up to two minutes before peeling off so the paper is cooler to the touch.
Most printing kit instructions specify using a hard surface for t-shirtprinting, because it holds the heat. The transfer paper needs to be very hot to work properly therefor ironing boards are not very suitable as they tend to disperse the heat.
Iron-on transfer artwork can be designed by using almost any graphics or creative printing program or if you have professional desktop publishing software you can use that too. The software usually has an option to flip or reverse the image for transfer printing however you can do that manually in the document. There are some t-shirt design software programs that are specifically designed for creating personalized iron-on transfers printed t-shirts and other such projects. You can use ready-made designs or create original artwork from scratch.
Following these instructions carefully will make your t-shirt printing experience easy and enjoyable and you can have a self-designed printed t-shirt at home.
