SEO vs. PPC – Which is better ?

The online method of searching out information is of different categories, ranging from websites, search engines, online shops etc. It should be noted without mincing words; it is obvious that people do not regularly go for detailed search for information on the web. It is normally a generalized link source that gives the most versatile view and information about things. Sequel to this it is normally to see people make open phrases for what they want to search. This makes the search engines the most used in the process of finding things in the internet. The search engines are therefore of different categories and functions as informed by its designs and methods of view. We have the SEO which means Search engine optimization and the PPC which means Pay per click ads.

Search Engine Optimization SEO;

This involves the process of designing and placing information about your company, products and services on some page that might or might not necessarily be a website and allowing it accessible through the search engines. This is done in conjunction with the search engines with some amount of money being given directly to each interest through web transactions. This is considerably cheap. It will need a search related to your information before it is shown.

Pay Per Click Ads PCC;

This involves some adverts about your website and services offered being displayed on the right or left side of the system screen. This is designed in such a way that the money for the advert is paid directly by clicks and view method. It gives particular and specific information and services about you and your firm. It costs more to view than the SEO and also costs more to maintain.

Which of these is Better;

The design, management, hosting and use of these two different search methods are relative in its advantages and disadvantages. The PPC which gets its own traffic by advertising, gets results faster than any other, if you are looking for a fast way of getting this information to the clients and make fast money, the PPC is definitely better for you, though the maintenance and management cots might be huge. The SEO is slow in its spread and income generation but one good advantage is that it gives more long term results than PPC and is cheaply done and managed. If there should be a crash of the two or when badly run, A PPC owner will definitely loose a whole lot of money compared to SEO. Meanwhile, the SEO easily resolves technical problems with the server and also helps to strengthen the brand strength more than the PPCs. the PPC needs more of intensive management because it is of a targeted audience while the SEO is open and easily accessible to all. The SEO increases conversion rate and web wide visibility more than the PPC. The bottom line is, if you are looking for something  long term, try the SEOs, but if you need a short term solution to your business needs, the PPCS might be better for you.
