Despite all the fad diets and the strange theories about eating one type of food until you turn into it, there is some actual science behind diets. Protein and vitamins are well known. Much less known are vital trace elements, the body’s equivalent of the pool pump, which provides the resources to maintain the body and replenishes the nerves and organs. These elements
Trace elements basics
Trace elements are mineral compounds. In the early 1800s Dr. Schuessler coined the word “biochemistry”, and developed a therapeutic system of treatment based on “biochemical salts”.
There are 12 naturally occurring body salts which have multiple functions in the body. These salts are a good illustration of the role of mineral trace elements.
The original biochemical salts were:
- Iron phosphate
- Sodium sulphate
- Sodium phosphate
- Sodium chloride
- Potassium chloride
- Potassium sulphate
- Magnesium phosphate

An open-ended fund operated by an investment company which raises money from shareholders and invests in a group of assets, in accordance with a stated set of objectives. mutual funds raise money by selling shares of the fund to the public, much like any other type of company can sell stock in itself to the public. Mutual funds then take the money they receive from the sale of their shares (along with any money made from previous investments) and use it to purchase various investment vehicles, such as stocks, bonds and money market instruments. In return for the money they give to the fund when purchasing shares, shareholders receive an equity position in the fund and, in effect, in each of its underlying securities. For most mutual funds, shareholders are free to sell their shares at any time, although the price of a share in a mutual fund will fluctuate daily, depending upon the performance of the securities held by the fund. Benefits of mutual funds include diversification and professional money management.

Indonesia and South Korea are ready to begin a joint project on jet fighter production in 2012. The project would be able to build a jet figther prototype in 2020. The planned cooperation for the project, dubbed the KF-X project, was initiated in 2006. The joint project is widely seen as a pilot project for Indonesian military in revitalising defense industry. Officials say the KF-X would have capabilities between those of the F-35 and F-16, although they are presumably referring to its size and thrust, since a stealth aircraft fielded in 2020 would be expected to comfortably outperform 1970s-era designs. Indonesia and Korea will produce as many as 200 fighter jets for both Air Forces.

In terms of mastering aviation technology, Indonesia has long been known as the only country in Southeast Asia to produce and develop its own aircrafts. However, in terms of marketing its home-made aircraft, we have to admit that we are lagging behind Brazil, who develops EMBRAER and markets it worldwide.
These recent years, however, some countries had turned their head to Indonesia’s aircraft products, namely Malaysia, Pakistan, UAE, Philippines, and South Korea, and some other. CN-235 (pictured below) is likely to hit broader market in years to come as now more people become aware of its reliability. Malaysia will add another four in addition to its existing CN-235 in its airforce fleet (source).
You must be wondering, with all this capacity and technology, why hasn’t Indonesia developed a jet fighter?
Well, according to one reliable source, Indonesia will soon develop its own jet fighter with South Korea. Here’s the points :
1. Initial cost will be $8 billion, and is likely to be funded jointly by both countries
2. It is A T-50 Golden Eagle jet fighter, and according to Indonesia’s Aircraft Industri (PT DI), Indonesia has all capacity to do the development as well as production.

3. The production is likely to be started this year, or next year at latest.

Indonesia, an archipelago made up of approximately 17,508 islands, and is located in South-East Asia. The country has a population of approximately 230 million, making it the fourth most populous country in the world; its capital city is Jakarta, which is located on the island of Java. Since the majority of the population of Indonesia are Muslims, Indonesia can be considered the largest Islamic state in the world in terms of population. The Indonesian economy is classified as a developing economy, and is known as a “Tiger Cub Economy” which is a group that also includes Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. This is a reference to the more economically advanced “Asian Tiger Economies” that include Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
The Asian Tigers gained this name after attracting foreign investment and achieving impressive growth in their economy, manufacturing industries, and capital development. However the East-Asian economies suffered a financial crisis in 1997 as a result of so-called “hot money” [speculative funds], affecting both the Tiger and Tiger Cub economies, and causing the value of their currencies to collapse. By 1998, the Indonesian Rupiah – which was the currency most affected by this crisis – had lost around 74 percent of its value. This led to a decline in the Asian Tigers financial markets, as a result of the large sales that had been made by speculators. (more…)

Malaysia is planning to sign a letter of intent in April for four Indonesian Aerospace CN-235 maritime patrol aircraft.
Air force officials, including chief of staff Rodzali bin Daud, have been negotiating with Indonesia’s state-owned aircraft-maker PT Dirgantara Indonesia for the purchase, say industry sources.
The two sides hope to sign a letter of intent at the Defence Services Asia show in Kuala Lumpur in late April, they add.
Malaysia needs maritime patrol aircraft because its air force has been relying largely on four Beechcraft Super King Airs that it received in 1994. One of these was recently upgraded with a Thales radar and a second is to undergo the same work in the coming months.

The air force wants the CN-235MPAs to widen its operations and improve payload performance, say industry sources. The service already operates CN-235 transports, so Indonesia’s offering provides some fleet commonality.
Malaysia has considered other types, such as a version of the Fokker 50. Fokker Services Asia had pushed the model as a cheaper alternative, and made a proposal to have some commercial Fokker 50s recently phased out by Malaysia Airlines converted for the maritime patrol mission by national maintenance, repair and overhaul firm Airod. Malaysian government investment firm Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad owns the retired aircraft.
