The airport at Agra is called Kheria Airport which is located at a distance of around 6 kilometers from Taj Mahal. This denotes that Taj Mahal is located very close to the airport. Even after reaching Agra, there would be no problem in reaching Taj. The local transport service is very good and you can easily get taxi, tempo, auto-rickshaw and cycle rickshaw in the city that will take you to your desired place. If you are sort of an adventurer and love bicycle rides, then you can hire bicycles that can be hires on hourly basis. Diesel and petrol vehicles are not allowed in the premises of Taj. This is actually a good thing as you can enjoy rickshaw a ride, tonga ride battery operated bus drive and other non polluting vehicles.
